On this page, you will find 26 mischievous Elf on the Shelf coloring pages that are all free to download and print! While my two young boys have grown out of it now, when they were younger, they loved nothing more than my whacky Elf on the Shelf displays during Christmas, which gave me the idea for this post.
For this series of printables, I was very spoilt for choice as there are so many festive elements that can be incorporated with these naughty characters. Included with these illustrations are snowflakes, ornaments, mistletoes, reindeer, candy canes, and Christmas trees to name a few!

Christmas Elf On Shelf Coloring
To make these Elf on the Shelf bookmarks, you’ll need to use an illustration where the Elf’s arms are clearly visible and, if possible, on each side of his torso.
Now you have an Elf on the Shelf bookmark where the Elf’s arms can go over the page you want to keep!
You’re going to instruct your child to color in the Elf’s body and background but then glue on cotton balls for the collar.
Elf On The Bench Colouring Page To Print Free
If your child wants to be more precise about it, they cut the cotton balls to make the zig-zag of the collar – but it’s not necessary!
You can use my Elf on the Shelf coloring pages as cut-outs if you don’t want to spend the money on buying an actual doll.
In fact, some might find that preferable since the doll can get wet, sticky, or otherwise dirty when it gets up to its antics.
Free Printable Elf On The Shelf Sized Coloring Pages
By using my Elf on the Shelf illustrations, you can get one or two uses out of each and then discard if any get especially messy.
Pick a coloring page where there is ample room on the sheet for a message from the Elf, something along the lines of:
“Hello! I’m your Elf on the Shelf, and I’m here to play! Each day I will surprise you with a new location, and you will have to come and find me. And each night, I will travel to the North Pole to tell Santa about all the good things you have done.”
Elf On The Shelf Coloring Pages (free Printables)
Simply print out the Elves your family wants to turn into ornaments onto the shrink sheets, then have the kids color in with markers and cut out.
Once they’re cool, loop the ribbon through and tie it off into a bow. Now you have cute new Elf ornaments that will look adorable on your Christmas tree!
Have your kids color in the Elf’s head and collar, arms and legs, and then use a red marker to color in the popsicle stick red.
Free Elf On The Shelf Coloring Pages
Whether you’re hosting a Christmas party or your kid just wants an Elf on the Shelf-themed birthday party, get them in on the decorating action.
Starting a few weeks before the party, help them color in multiple Elves to use as table or wall décor, place settings, food markers, or even strung up as bunting.
Just color in the Elf of your choice – or multiple Elves! – and paste to a plain gift bag (red or green would be perfect!).
